Mike Newman has been working in the Travel Trade since 1998, initially undertaking the Sales and Marketing for the BITOA (now UKinbound) Visitor Guide and the British Tourist Authority (now Visit Britain) London and Britain Maps as Business Development Manager for Visitmap. In the advent of increasingly popular internet advertising by the end of 2002, Mike saw the opportunity to increase the contact between museums, galleries and visitor attractions with Tour Operators and Travel Agents in key markets by offering a cost effective representation for complementary products, thereby creating simple itinerary ideas for FIT clients as well as groups under the brand name b2me. Over the years that followed, Mike has built up a wide portfolio of clients across the Travel Industry providing representation, strategy and marketing support in the UK and internationally.
Andrew Macnair has more than 20 years Marketing and Business Development experience in Tourism, Travel Trade and Arts Marketing, including senior roles at the British Tourist Authority, the New Millennium Experience Company, Historic Royal Palaces and Shakespeare's Globe Trust.
Jeannie Shapiro is a Digital Marketing Strategist with a love of Social Media and understands the importance of ROI. With a particular emphasis in Travel and Tourism, Jeannie has gained invaluable experience having run her own Digital Agency for 8 years and worked with clients such as Fairmont Hotels, Swissotels, Tourism South East and Tourism Ireland. Jeannie also has an extensive Business Development background of 20+ years in the Youth and Student travel sector and is currently a Director of the British Educational Travel Association (BETA). |
